Mr. Gene Wyatt was employed in the pharmaceutical sales industry for 39 years until his retirement in 2022. He received his bachelor of science degree from Auburn University in Industrial Management. He and his wife, Donna, have been married for forty-one years and have four children who graduated from Cottage Hill Christian Academy: Stephen, 2003, Ashley, 2004, Chris, 2008, and Cody, 2012. Mr. Wyatt is the proud grandparent of five grandchildren with two attending CHCA. He is a past member of the Warrior Club where he served as treasurer. Mr. Wyatt was also actively involved with fundraising for the boys' varsity and middle school basketball programs. This is Mr. Wyatt's second year on the School Committee. Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt are members of Cottage Hill Baptist Church.

Pastor Alan is a native of Mobile, holding degrees from the University of Mobile, Southwestern Seminary, and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. His wife Kathy is also from Mobile. They have two sons, Christopher and Conner, a daughter-in-law, Abigail, and a grandson, Maverick.
Pastor Alan has pastored churches in Florida and Georgia before coming to Cottage Hill in 2012 as Lead Pastor. Since that time, Cottage Hill has baptized over 800 people and has more than doubled in attendance, launching two additional campuses on Dauphin Island and in Downtown Mobile. In addition to being a frequent quest speaker for evangelism conferences and revivals, Pastor Alan consults with churches and non-profits on revitalization.

Mr. Jay Moore has served on the Cottage Hill Christian Academy School Committee in his capacity as Cottage Hill Baptist Church Business Administrator for over ten years. He holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of South Alabama, where he also completed many hours toward a Masters of Business Administration. Jay has over 30 years of experience in management, accounting, finance, human resources, and operations. He and his wife, Lesa, have been active members of Cottage Hill Baptist Church for over 30 years and have been active volunteers over the years at CHCA where their children, Logan and Olivia, and daughter-in-law, Victoria, all graduated.

Dr. Glen Spivey is serving as Cottage Hill Baptist Church Chairman of Deacons from January 1 until December 31, 2023. He is Dean Emeritus, Air Command and Staff College, Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. Dr. Spivey and his wife Donna moved to Mobile after his retirement in 2015 with more than 40 years of educational experience as a faculty member and in educational leadership roles. He holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Troy University and Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate Degrees in Education from Auburn University. Dr. Spivey retired as a colonel from the Air Force Reserve in June 1998 after 30 years of service. He and his wife Donna have two grown sons, Matthew and Mark, who live in Mobile.

Mr. Robert Johnson is serving Cottage Hill Baptist Church as Vice Chairman of Deacons from January 1 until December 31, 2023. He is a graduate of Northside High School in Atlanta, Georgia, and attended the University of Georgia and the University of South Alabama. Robert spent over forty years in the restaurant business before retiring in 2014 as the president of Hart’s Fried Chicken. He and Kay have been married for forty-seven years. Robert has been a member of CHBC for almost fifty years and has served on several committees. He is active with both Love Where You Live and the Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief teams at CHBC.

Mr. Christopher Floyd is the Next Generation Pastor at Cottage Hill Baptist Church. He and his wife Abigail have one son, Maverick, who attends CHCA. Mr. Floyd graduated from Cottage Hill in 2013 and then attained a Christian Ministries degree from the University of Mobile. This is his second year serving on the school committee and has faithfully served CHBC for over seven years.

Mr. Andrew Golden and his wife, Christina, have two children. Grant is in 3rd grade and Ellie is in K4. This is Mr. Golden’s third year serving on the school committee but he and his family have been members of the Cottage Hill family for eight years. Mr. Golden is the IT Director for Smith Dukes and their affiliated companies. He was a member of the 3rd graduating class of CHCA in 2002 and attended K5 through high school graduation. His grandmother, Mildred Harris, taught 1st Grade at the school for 36 years, beginning in 1963. Mrs. Christina Golden is currently a history teacher at Mobile County Public School System (Baker High School).

Teresa Williamson is president of Roberts Brothers, Mobile Alabama's leading residential real estate company. Roberts Brothers is one of 60 companies wholly owned by HomeServices of America. Teresa joined Roberts Brothers in 2009 as a sales associate and in 2013 became the owner and managing broker for Roberts Brothers Saraland franchised location. In Fall 2014, she accepted the role of managing broker for Roberts Brothers West Mobile operations and over the next five years, escalated the office to unprecedented success. In 2019, the position of General Manager for Roberts Brothers was added while continuing to manage the West Mobile office before becoming Roberts Brothers first female president. As president, Teresa sets the company's strategic vision and oversees the operation of its more than 300 sales associates and staff in seven offices with a focus on driving future growth. Teresa’s family are dynamic supporters of her professional growth. She and her husband, Tim, have two children, Taylor and Natalie, a daughter in-law, Dylan, and two grandchildren, Harper, and Weston. “The passion I have for my family and real estate are fulfilled through my purpose – to be the hands and feet of Jesus”.

Mr. Chad Anderson is serving in his first year on the School Committee. He and his wife, Shannon, have two children at CHCA, Will and Wyatt. Mr. Anderson, a graduate of the University of South Alabama, is a real estate appraiser with over 17 years of experience, covering both the Alabama and Mississippi Gulf Coast areas. He grew up as a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church and attended CHCA in the early 90's. Mr. Anderson also currently serves as the Vice Chair for the State of Alabama Real Estate Appraisers Board and serves on the City of Mobile Planning Commission. His mom Roz is the former bookkeeper at CHCA.

Mrs. Hannah Breland and her husband, Luke, have two children. Eleanor (3) and John Oliver (2) both attend the EEC. This is Hannah's second year serving on the school committee, but she and her family have been a part of Cottage Hill for three years. Hannah and Luke were both members of the 2010 graduating class from CHCA. Hannah is an account manager for TruBridge - a CPSI subsidiary. Her grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Charles Lang, played a fundamental role in laying the groundwork for CHCA as it exists today.

Lesa has over 25 years of experience in marketing and public relations including the high-tech industry, retail marketing, and higher education. Numerous local and national advertising, PR and design awards have been achieved under her direction. Lesa received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of South Alabama and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Mobile. She serves as Vice President for Marketing and Public Relations as well as an instructor in marketing at UM. Lesa is married to her high school sweetheart, Jay, and they have two children, Logan and Olivia, who are both graduates of CHCA. She is an active member and volunteer at Cottage Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. Shawn Smith is serving his first year on the School Committee. He and his wife Amy have been married for 29 years and have two children Brooke and Nicholas and daughter-in-law Savannah. Nicholas graduated from Cottage Hill Christian Academy in 2020. Their family has attended Cottage Hill Baptist Church for 6 years. Shawn studied business and finance at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi. He has owned and operated Pronto Inc. for 27 years.

This is Greg’s first year serving on the committee. Allen is a lifelong member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church and, alongside his wife Windi, has raised two children who attended Cottage Hill Christian Academy. He has three decades of real estate experience. Greg is dedicated to the ministry and discipleship of young men.

Mr. Chris Brazell is serving as the fifth Head of School for Cottage Hill Christian Academy. Mr. Brazell completed his Bachelor of Science in Social Science from the University of Mobile in 2002. He has faithfully served in many roles during his twenty years of service to Cottage Hill Christian Academy. Mr. Brazell began his career at Cottage Hill during the 2001 - 2002 academic year serving as an assistant coach, then spent 13 years in the classroom as a social science teacher, coached various sports for two decades, and has been a fixture on the schools Administration and Leadership Teams. In 2013 he was named Athletic Director and continued to serve as a member of the leadership team in various capacities including Dean of Students at the West Campus, Varsity Football Coach, and Varsity Baseball Coach before becoming Head of School. Mr. Brazell is married to Charlie Brooke Brazell and they have one daughter, Chrislie- Anne. The Brazell's are faithful members of Cottage Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jennifer Newton is serving as West Campus Director for Cottage hill Christian Academy. Mrs. Newton attended Pensacola Christian College, where she double-majored in English Education and Physical Education and was a member of the Lady Eagles volleyball team. She is entering her 20th year as a part of the Warrior family. During her tenure at Cottage Hill, Mrs. Newton has served as a teacher, coach, and admissions director. In her new role as west campus director, Mrs. Newton will lead our high school students, faculty, and families. She understands the culture of Cottage Hill and is excited to help propel our high school to even greater heights. She and her husband Brad have twin daughters, Emily and Ashlyn (11th grade), who attend Cottage Hill. The Newtons are active members of Cottage Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. Trent Catchpole is in his fourth year as the Church Campus Director at Cottage Hill Christian Academy. Mr. Catchpole graduated from Lee University with a B.S. in Physical Education K-12, minoring in Bible in 2010. In 2020, he obtained his Master's Degree in Education Leadership from the University of South Alabama. Trent is excited to continue serving at Cottage Hill where he formerly taught PE and Bible, coached football, and started the varsity girl's soccer program. Trent and his wife Brooke have two children at CHCA, Benjamin (2st Grade) and Raylee (K4).
