Who Belongs To That Smile!

Mrs. Donna Dement joins us from Oak Park Christian Academy where she filled a wide variety of shoes. She began there as a math teacher, moved to Guidance Counselor and then to Assistant Principal before serving as Principal for the past 5 years. She is a graduate of Theodore High School and the University of South Alabama. Mrs. Dement is teaching Geometry, Algebra 2, and Probabilities & Statistics. Mrs. Dement says, “I do believe that God has placed me here, and I am excited about what He is going to do through our Math Department this year.”

A graduate of Greystone Christian School and the University of South Florida, Mrs. Jan Hayford changes positions within Cottage Hill Christian Academy and is now the High School Bible Teacher. She has previous experience teaching music and directing preschools in Florida and Texas. Mrs. Hayford and her husband, Dennis, have three children: Sam – a 2010 graduate of CHCA, Will – currently a Jr. at CHCA, and Katie-Bay – a 7th grader at CHCA. Mrs. Hayford likes to tell her family, “We are going to be clean and happy because we are blessed and highly favored!” Her “attitude of gratitude” is a wonderful example to us all.
